Small and Simple

Each day provides the opportunity to make a difference in someones life by small and simple means. In a devotional given by Bonnie D. Parkin about personal ministry she talked about “never suppressing a generous thought”. Meaning, when you have a kind thought, act on it!

I was having a down day a few months back when a dear friend I hadn’t spoken to in months texted me out of the blue to say, “I’ve been thinking about you lately… I love you”. The text was short and sweet, but had a big impact on not just my day, but the rest of the week… and even months later I’m appreciative of her small and simple act of kindness.

So the next time you are prompted to smile at a stranger, give a hug to a friend, or let someone know you are thinking of them, don’t think about it, just do it. Go ahead… make their day!

About Kae

We are a couple of gals who have seen the joy that can be added to someone’s life by a single act of kindness. We are mothers, wives, sisters, friends, and Mormons who want to make a difference. We are what we believe in. We believe first and foremost that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and the Son of God. We believe in a restoration of all the teachings of Jesus Christ. We are motivated by love, charity, and faith. Our faith is our inspiration to do and see the good all around us. Even though we all have diverse backgrounds and experiences, we feel by uniting with others committed to serving we can make a difference.
